A live AR show that turns Viessmann’s decentralised energy system into a neighbourhood you can watch power itself — from one family’s home to the whole shared grid.
Decentralised energy, made visible.
Viessmann’s future is decentralised energy — homes that generate, share and store their own power. It is abstract, and it had to convince two very different rooms: the general public, and the installers and plumbers who actually fit these systems. So we built a neighbourhood at 1:100 and sent a robot-driven macro camera through it — from one family’s living room out to the whole shared grid. Invisible energy flows became something you watch happen.
One robot, two scales.
A robotic arm carries a macro camera through the model street, precise enough to lock augmented content onto the real houses — and genuinely spectacular to watch move. Nerd fact: We wrote its control and calibration software ourselves, in vvvv.
That precision lets the camera get personal: we follow Klaus, a Viessmann installer, into a customer’s home, where the heating runs from a phone.

A neighbourhood that powers itself.
Then the camera pulls out, and AR reveals what connects the houses: they share energy with each other through ViShare, until the street works as one virtual power plant that generates and consumes its own power — heating with electricity, not fuel.
The same show that made it personal now makes it systemic: understandable for the public, and convincing for the installers and plumbers who put these systems into real homes.
